Dr. Sharf enjoys Mountain Biking, Golfing, taking long walks and frequent workouts. He enjoys reading spiritual books, committing to daily prayers and strengthening his faith in God. His favorite food is Middle Eastern food and Mexican food, especially chiles rellenos. He does not watch much TV but when he does he likes Documentaries or Shows like “Suits” and Movies like “The Chosen”. His favorite sports teams are the SD Padres, LA Chargers and LA Lakers.

Dr. Fatemeh Esfahani is a double Board-Certified physician with more than 29 years of experience in practicing medicine in three (3) medical specialties and in three (3) countries including United States, United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and Persia (Iran).
She achieved the highest ranking in Cardiology Board exam in 2001 and was awarded the position of Director of Cardiovascular Medicine in a prestigious hospital in Dubai in 2002. Dr. Esfahani is actively practicing in Internal Medicine, Non-invasive Cardiology and Aesthetics Medicine (Cosmetic Dermatology).
She has hundreds of 5 star reviews in multiple platforms including US News, Health grades and Google. Dr. Esfahani is affiliated with multiple hospitals in San Diego including Pomerado and Palomar Hospitals.

Mr. Jose Alcantar, FNP is available at both Cardiology of Southern California practices and specializes in Family Medicine, Nurse Practitioner, and Nutrition.
Mr. Alcantara is affiliated with Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and Alvarado Hospital LLC.
Mr. Alcantar is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who earned his MD in Mexico and a FNP with a Masters degree here in the United States. He has over 8 years of experience working in Cardiology.
Mr. Alcantar enjoys helping his patients and wants to ensure all are diagnosed correctly, treated well, and overall feel better after visiting Cardiology of Southern California. He performs new patient cardiac cath follow-ups, heart failure diagnosis, lipid and arrhythmia medical management, EP and device management.

Jose is married and has two lovely daughters. He loves spending time with his family and being present for them as family is extremely important to him.

Mr. Alcantar enjoys Jujitsu and outdoor cycling. His favorite food is Thai food, especially drunken noodles and red curry with chicken. Before bed time he enjoys reading. He also enjoys watching action movies and investigation series. His favorite movie series is “Rocky Balboa”, especially “Rocky 4” .
